Bruce Arians
Illustration assets produced of the legendary coach Bruce Arians for his interview with The Athletic. We used these drawings as visual aids to his story, accentuating his larger than life personality. (And propensity for cursing!)
These Illustrations were delivered in the monochromatic semi-realistic comic style with a focus on his exaggerated behavior and emotions.
Ndamukong Suh
The first round of illustrations produced provided a look into the life of the Multi-team Super Bowl star Ndamukong Suh.
As my first illustrations for this project, I had a lot of fun exploring the designs and pushing the AI generated content to the next level.
These drawings were requested in a comic book style, and were given heightened lighting to accentuate his contemplative and passionate nature. Any changes made based on Rebel Road's requests were edited swiftly and cleanly.
Joey Votto
Joey Votto's illustrations were the final in this project, and included the most dramatic backgrounds and most dynamic full-body illustrations of the group.
As with the whole set, the backgrounds, poses, lighting, etc. were drawn completely by hand. In some cases, the images required intense reworking to give life to the scene and bring the piece from the AI generated photos to the completed illustrations.
Votto's illustrations were provided with the least number of changes and were easily incorporated into the production.
